A’ali Burial Mounds Museum og Qal’at al-Arad besøgscenter
Wohlert Arkitekter AS har skitseret flere museer med faciliteter for besøgende ved nationalhistoriske seværdigheder på Bahrain. Blandt disse er gravhøjsfelterne i A’ali, som indgår i en nominering til UNESCOs verdenskulturarvs-liste. Et andet er beliggende ved ifm et søfort på øen Muharraq. Udstillinger om de enkelte steder indgår i vores ydelse. Forslagene omfatter en række initiativer, der skal forbedre besøgsforholdene for de historiske seværdigheder, omfattende en landskabsplan og en udstilling om A’alis arkæologiske skatte og nekropoler.

A’ali Burial Mounds - Souq al-Khamis Mosque - Qal’at al-Arad. Visitors’ Centres and Museums
Wohlert Arkitekter AS has prepared several concept design proposal for visitors’ centres at national historic sites in Bahrain. Among these are the burial mound fields at A’ali, that form part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site nomination. Another is in connection with a naval fort on Muharraq island. The exhibitions form part of our services.
The proposals comprise a number of initiatives aiming at providing services for visitors to the archaeological sites, including informative exhibitions about the sites’ past and archaeological treasures.
